Welcome to the Vinal Square Clock Tower fundraising site! We are excited to share that we will be installing a new clock tower in Vinal Square in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
This well-received, three phase revitalization project will beautify North Chelmsford’s Vinal Square, with a new clock tower and brick patio installation. Phase 2 of the improvement project will add a new traffic flow, and Phase 3 will offer additional public transportation.
The following are a few details about the Vinal Square revitalization project:
- The cost of the clock tower and installation is approximately $35,000, and donations and sponsorships will help fund the project.
- The clock tower will be a 12 foot high, 4-faced, Howard Replica/Seth Thomas II clock with Vinal Square and North Chelmsford engraved on the face.
- The clock will feature chimes that can be played when desired for things like the Memorial Day Parade, Holiday Tree Lighting, etc.
- In Phase 1, the clock will be placed in the current municipal parking lot, and when Phase 3 of Vinal Square Traffic Flow project is completed (currently in with the State DOT), it will be moved to a new center island for even better visibility.
- The clock will be installed in a small park, with a park bench(s), tree(s) , landscaping and an engraved brick patio (click here to order your custom engraved brick).
- The clock will be purchased in winter, with a planned spring 2025 installation!
